We have to keep up the fight against the bully of OCD. It's easy to slack off. Sometimes we get used to feeling the same amount of fear, and mistakenly think that facing the OCD head-on will bring a new greater fear we can't handle.
Fear is fear. The anxiety might increase when we set new goals to tackle another fear/obsession/compulsion, but it lessens if we are persistent in not backing away from the fear.
