Stay on Course

We have to keep up the fight against the bully of OCD.  It's easy to slack off. Sometimes we get used to feeling the same amount of fear, and mistakenly think that facing the OCD head-on will bring a new greater fear we can't handle.
Fear is fear. The anxiety might increase when we set new goals to tackle another fear/obsession/compulsion, but it lessens if we are persistent in not backing away from the fear.

Written by the client of  Dr. Steven Brodsky, a well known OCD specialist in NYC, and using the techniques taught to the author by him. The author has OCD and therefore knows firsthand the struggles entailed.
