To get a stronger start, treat your body well. Drink enough water, toss the sugar and caffeine and try to get some decent sleep. This will be an aid to lessen anxiety.
Try prayer and/or meditation. Take a walk outdoors, by the ocean or at the park, even around the block on a nice day. This can help calm the mind a bit.
Just like an athlete or a soldier, we too need to prepare ourselves for our challenge...fighting back the bully of OCD. Believe you can do it, one step at a time.
